Florida Bonsai Magazine is the official publication of the Bonsai Societies of Florida. The magazine is designed for print and distributed electronically to BSF members and the wider bonsai community up to four times per year.

Submit finished artwork at the size listed below. Full-page advertisements may include bleed; all other sizes should be supplied without bleed.

Artwork requirements

  • Preferred format: Press-quality PDF with fonts embedded.
  • Also accepted: High-resolution JPG or PNG.
  • Resolution: 300 dpi at the final advertisement size.
  • Color: CMYK preferred; RGB files will be converted for publication.
  • Keep important text and logos at least ⅜ inch from the page edge or trim line.
  • Do not submit screenshots, low-resolution web graphics, or files containing crop marks.

Advertising eligibility

Advertising must relate to bonsai in some manner. Appropriate advertisers may include bonsai nurseries, artists, instructors, tool and supply vendors, pottery makers, event organizers, clubs, related horticultural businesses, and other bonsai-oriented organizations.  All advertising is subject to review and approval by the Bonsai Societies of Florida. BSF reserves the right to decline advertising that is unrelated to bonsai or is otherwise considered unsuitable for the magazine. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or placement.

How it works

  1. Reserve
    Tell us about your business and select an advertisement size and term.
  2. Approval
    BSF confirms that the advertisement is eligible and space is available.
  3. Submit artwork
    After approval upload your finished advertisement (30 days prior to publishing).
  4. Payment 
    We confirm receipt and contact you with payment instructions.
  5. Confirmation
    We confirm receipt and contact you if the artwork requires adjustment.

Advertising space is limited. Placement is not confirmed until the advertisement has been approved and payment has been received.

Payment instructions will be provided after the advertisement has been reviewed and approved. Please do not send payment before receiving approval. Advertising placement is reserved only after payment is received.

The 2027 introductory rates apply only to advertising published in Florida Bonsai Magazine. Website advertising and other promotional partnerships are not included.
